RSR Cohosts SEEN NYC

In October of this year, RSR cofounder, Aaron Harvey, launched his second mental health advocacy platform — Made of Millions — as a digital meeting ground for those living with mental illness. The platform was released to the world alongside an art exhibition in London cohosted with Tumblr and featuring photography by Yumna Al-Arashi.

This past week, Made of Millions and Ready Set Rocket hosted the second installation of the exhibition, titled SEEN, in NYC. The event featured photography of Aaron shot by Ira Chernova, a screening of the shortfilm Mindstory, produced by Made of Millions cofounder Rose Cartwright, and a panel on mental wellness in the workplace with speakers from Rolling Stone, Daly PR, Tumblr, AFROPUNK and RSR.

As Made of Millions continues to expand, the nonprofit plans on bringing the exhibition to cities and towns around the world. Each time, pairing a local advocate with a local artist in order to create work that challenges cultural perceptions of mental illness and sheds light on overlooked narratives.
