Managing Employees in the Age of Covid-19 with Danielle Menkens

Amidst the layoffs, pay cuts and general uncertainty of the Covid-19 crisis, it’s more important than ever for managers to take care of themselves so they can best support their employees. Harvard Business Review asked RSR executive producer, Danielle Menkens, to weigh in on her approach to self-care and maintaining her team’s momentum throughout the health emergency.

[Danielle] has made it a priority to maintain those close relationships and find new ways to connect with her colleagues beyond the company’s weekly virtual happy hours and Friday themed dress-days. “I am checking in with people as often as I can and asking them about anything that isn’t work-related,” she says.
