Paid Social Media Specialist

What You'll Do

As the Paid Social Media Specialist, you will join a team of experts in digital strategy, design, creative ideation and development. You will be fully responsible for the execution of paid social media campaigns for our clients across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Additionally, you’ll provide support across a range of digital marketing deliverables, including paid social media planning, campaign set-up, campaign monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on paid social media campaigns to optimize for client objectives, including awareness, engagement, and conversion

  • Manage the entire marketing deliverable cycle including initial planning, creative briefing, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting

  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards, and recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies

  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and provide relevant insights to teams as to how they might affect client accounts

  • Provide timely updates to direct supervisor on account health and raise concerns about downward trends and client flags.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in managing paid social media campaigns with a minimum budget of $50k/month

  • Experience with optimization of paid social media campaigns to achieve client objectives

  • Extensive knowledge of paid social platforms and optimization tactics on Facebook Business Manager

  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics

  • Experience creating reports and recommendations based on account performance

  • Extremely data and detail oriented

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for this role

  • Agency experience preferred

  • Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit -- quick to adapt to changing needs

  • Leverage performance-based media channels such as paid search, paid social, display, video ads, and emerging new media to drive leads and conversions
  • Manage the entire marketing deliverable cycle including initial planning, creative briefing, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards, and recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and provide relevant insights to teams as to how they might affect client accounts

  • 2+ years of experience in managing paid media campaigns with a minimum budget of $50k/month
  • Experience with optimization of paid media campaigns to hit CPA, ROAS and Engagement goals
  • Extensive knowledge of paid search platforms and optimization tactics on Google AdWords (Bing Ads a plus)
  • Extensive knowledge of paid social platforms and optimization tactics on Facebook Business Manager
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience creating reports and recommendations based on account performance

Senior Digital Strategist

Our Ideal Candidate

As a Senior Digital Strategist, you’ll join a team of experts in marketing, design, creative ideation, strategy and development. In this role you’ll be fully responsible for the planning of acquisition and retention paid, earned, and owned campaigns and overall digital strategy for our clients across verticals.

Our ideal candidate can manage strategy deliverables including initial planning, marketing implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting of complex acquisition and brand marketing goals across a range of high-profile clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide insights for client goals and objectives during planning phases via research
  • Develop the tactical digital marketing strategy relevant to various client business models
  • Utilize cross-department resources through the entire marketing deliverable cycle including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
  • Interact with clients via conference calls, email and face-to-face meetings to facilitate client deliverables and marketing meetings
  • Colloborate with marketing team to tell a story via additional insights in monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards
  • Drive consumer insights across a range of clients and industries to spot trends and opportunities for our clients
  • Provide analysis of results and optimization ideas to Account and Marketing team in order to grow accounts and improve client goals
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and provide relevant insights to teams as to how they might affect client accounts

Our Requirements

  • At least 3 years of digital agency experience working with Fortune 500 companies
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in crafting digital strategy decks and providing digital strategy consulting to clients
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field preferred
  • Expert level knowledge of web and social analytics
  • Expert understanding of web metrics, digital media testing methodology and optimization strategies
  • Strong data analysis skills and a passion to drive program performance; fluency with performance metrics and ROI analysis
  • Experience with channel marketing and media mix modeling (Earned, Owned, Paid)
  • Experience in email marketing/marketing automation/CRM (Marketo, SalesForce)
  • Experience in site A/B testing
  • Highly quantitative, metrics-driven professional with creative sense of holistic marketing campaigns
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and minimum supervision
  • Superb written and communications skills
  • Comfortable and confident acting as a product owner
