Digital Art Director

Ready Set Rocket is looking for a multi-talented digital Art Director to join our creative team. Our Art Directors are a driving force behind our creative work and have a hands-on role in every phase of a project—from contributing to creative strategy and defining a creative vision, to executing designs and presenting work, to collaborating with other creative team members to see a vision through to launch.

Our art directors & designers are given a high level of responsibility to contribute to the overall end product, so those who are self-driven and passionate about making killer creative work have a great opportunity to thrive and expand their role within our team.

Reporting to a Creative Director, Art Directors will find themselves on any given day designing an immersive microsite, huge CMS-driven website, or the UI of a major app, defining art direction for a variety of projects, or developing a 360 or social campaign.

This position offers a ton of opportunity for personal growth and high-level work across a variety of top-notch clients in spirits, finance, sports, entertainment, cultural institutes and more while working with a brilliant, close-knit team in a fast, highly-collaborative (and highly dog-friendly) environment.

Your day-to-day would include:

  • Creating stunning, original concept designs that define a creative vision for the project
  • Designing various digital products including responsive websites, mobile applications, custom infographics, and paid media campaigns
  • Designing storyboards and setting vision for motion projects
  • Working with other designers to guide projects from vision to execution to launch
  • Establishing the visual design for a given project and assisting with maintaining the quality of design throughout all phases of the project, including leading the design QA, in-browser collaboration with the development team or revision process with other team members
  • Contributing to pitch opportunities with big ideas and a storytelling approach to presentations
  • Working with people across disciplines, including developers, writers, photographers, animators, strategists, marketers and account managers
  • Supporting the visual creation of internal Ready Set Rocket assets for all presentations, decks, collateral and website assets

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • A strong portfolio of work in both interactive and conceptual design, with an emphasis on responsive web, user-centered digital products, 360 campaigns and social media
  • An impeccable eye for typography and attention to detail
  • An understanding of how to translate strategy into compelling big ideas and executions
  • The ability to articulate concepts and communicate effectively, both with teammates and clients
  • A drive to create award-worthy design work across a variety of clients and digital channels
  • An insatiable sense of curiosity, great attitude, and a love of collaboration
  • A desire to mentor younger designers in their growth as well
  • Interest in or experience planning and setting direction for photo or video shoots
  • Mastery of core Adobe Creative Suite products, Sketch, and an interest in learning new software tools
  • Experience with Zeplin and Principle (or other prototyping tools) - a plus
  • At least 5 years of solid design & art direction experience, with some coming from an agency environment
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Digital Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a hungry and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, you’ll be fully responsible for the set up and configuration planning of acquisition and retention campaigns and overall strategy for our clients across verticals. Paid Media Manager

As the Paid Media Manager, you will join a team of experts in digital strategy, design, creative ideation and development. You will be fully responsible for the execution of acquisition campaigns for our clients across all acquisition channels. Additionally, you’ll manage digital marketing deliverables including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting of complex acquisition marketing goals across a range of high-profile clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop media plans for campaigns against client goals (branding / engagement, sales/ conversions, audience growth, etc)
  • Develop short and long term digital advertising strategy for clients with the goal of driving new customer acquisition (sales growth), brand engagement, and customer retention through prospecting and remarketing campaigns utilizing search, programmatic, paid social, video, and mobile advertising tactics
  • Manage the entire marketing deliverable cycle including initial planning, creative briefing, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
  • Manage paid search, paid social, display and other paid media channels
  • Work with marketing team to generate weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards, and recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies
  • Own relationship with digital advertising/marketing technology vendors
  • Provide analysis of results and optimization ideas to Account teams in order to surpass client goals
  • Ensure that all client documentation is spot on, following internal documentation and approval processes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in managing large scale paid media campaigns with a minimum budget of at least $100k+/month
  • Currently employed as a Marketing Manager or similar role
  • College degree in Communications or related field required
  • Experience with optimization of paid media campaigns to hit CPA, ROAs and Engagement goals
  • Expert knowledge of paid search platforms including Google AdWords, Bing Ads, AdWords Editor and Bing Ads Editor
  • Expert knowledge of Facebook Advertising and Facebook Business Manager
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics required, experience with additional analytics/measurement/tag management platforms preferred
