Enhancing the overall visitor experience of one of the world's preeminent scientific and cultural institutions.

Challenge

For over 150 years, The American Museum of Natural History has brought world-class collections and education to the public. Knowing that consuming such a large volume of content can become overwhelming, the institution employed Ready Set Rocket to enhance the overall experience for visitors.

Solution

To help combat visitor fatigue, we first conducted extensive research to better understand key audience segments. Then, we reimagined the entire 360-degree experience—from ticketing to wayfinding to digital—to personalize every touchpoint with the visitor. We also redesigned their digital products (website, apps, etc.) and trained their staff on how to leverage analytics to drive better visitor outcomes.

Result

Through our work with AMNH, we were able to create a multi-year roadmap to holistically enhance visitor perception and experience. We created and implemented a strategy to bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds and empowered the organization with frameworks to customize every single touchpoint. We also provided data and analytics tools to ensure continued improvement and to help the museum make smarter business decisions now, and in the future.
