As part of our ongoing commitment to providing education to students and professional learning groups, RSR hosted a Digital Marketing Panel at Baruch College, sponsored by the American Marketing Association.
The panel, “What Your Teachers Aren’t Teaching You About Digital Marketing,” offered aspiring media professionals unique insights into the state and future of digital marketing, and also how to prepare for a career in the digital marketing field.
Speakers included Ready Set Rocket Creative Director, Melissa Silvers, and Partner, Aaron Harvey; as well as Liz Greenberg, Director of e-Commerce at Diesel; Matt Butlein, President at Freshpair.com; and Dana Glaeser, AVP of Marketing Services for New York Life.
The primary discussion centered around bridging the gap from offline to online marketing using technology, content and communications strategies. Panelists provided insights on meaningful digital marketing and the evolution of the online consumer as it relates to e-commerce and business goals.
